A WOMEN'S WELLNESS RETREAT
BY WOMEN FOR WOMEN.
Woman, you ARE well
you are A well...
Started in March 2017, the first Well Woman hosted a day full of pampering, treating the "outside" with services ranging from facials, to nails, to massage, hair and make-up. This retreat is wholistic in nature with a focus on the outward appearance, but Well Woman also caters to the mind and soul, with multiple sessions with a range of topics including mental health, tapping, practical meditation and other mindfulness techniques.
Well Woman has grown from a one- day retreat to an entire weekend. In 2020, due to Covid-19, Well Woman pivoted to a virtual retreat, however, plans are in the works to return to an in-person retreat resuming in the Spring of 2023.
WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING ABOUT WELL WOMAN
“Upon reading the flyer for the first time, I was immediately drawn in and felt like I could relate. The conference title was catchy and the subheading had me interested in knowing more. I was also very impressed with the various perspectives that were to be offered by the panel of presenters.”
“The design and presentation of the virtual experience was quite impressive. The choice of the virtual background for the presenters was aesthetically pleasing with the right balance of professionalism and fashionable flair. The Welcome Address was powerful and engaging. After hearing the day’s agenda with such a rich offering of topics, I felt like I had hit the jackpot. (I imagined that I was present in a virtual room filled with a multitude of women from various zip codes and walks of life.”
“As conference host, Gerdie was very warm, welcoming and engaging (as always). This created an atmosphere that made it easy for attendees to share and open up personal vulnerabilities. In fact, the panel created an atmosphere which was like an open market to exchange “high-end goods” - from nutritional pointers, to holistic healthcare, to mindfulness, quality wig hair, and self-preservation of real hair. It was evident that the presenters were passionate in their areas of expertise and that the program was well thought out.”
